Stop. Rest. Recharge.

I’ve been so busy traveling, teaching lessons and presenting to companies that it’s easy to forget to stop and breathe. Does this sound familiar? I always talk about the importance of rest and recovery with my clients – that your body needs a break when you’re training – but this is also important in your life outside of the pool.

If you’re like me and always on the go (and feel stressed and maybe exhausted!) I recommend taking a few minutes to pause, disconnect from the outside world and be silent. It’s important to give your body and mind time to rest. Clearing your mind allows you to open yourself up for success.
